Who We are?
EMPACS Charitable Society is a registered charitable society committed to the education and holistic development of children. It was founded in 1992 by members of East Parade Malayalam Church, Bangalore, with a simple conviction: love must move beyond words into service.

What began as a community response to the needs of vulnerable children has grown into a sustained educational mission. For more than three decades, EMPACS has worked with children and families who need access to affordable, inclusive and compassionate education.
​
Through our two learning centres in Bangalore, we support children with special needs and children from socially and economically vulnerable communities — helping them learn, grow and move forward with dignity.

We exist because every child deserves more than survival.​
Every child deserves the chance to learn, to belong, to be seen, to be guided, and to grow into the fullest version of who they can become.​
At EMPACS, education is not limited to marks, books or classrooms. We believe in whole-person development — intellectual, physical, mental, moral, social and emotional growth.​
Our work is inspired by the love of God and expressed through practical service to humanity.
We serve without distinction of caste, creed, community or religion, because every child carries dignity, possibility and promise.
Whom do we serve?
EMPACS serves children and families who often stand at the margins of opportunity.

At Ashraya Centre for Learning, we work with children with special needs, helping them develop functional academics, communication skills, self-help skills, social interaction, motor skills, daily living skills and pre-vocational abilities.
​
At CJM Study Centre, we support children from financially vulnerable families through affordable education, remedial support, life skills, values education and personal attention.
​
Many of the children we serve come from families where parents work as daily wage earners, domestic helpers, migrant labourers, drivers, watchmen, small vendors, tailors, electricians, security staff and other low-income occupations.

What makes us trustworthy?
EMPACS has served children and vulnerable communities in Bangalore for more than three decades.
​
Our work is guided by an elected Board of Management, chosen from among the members of the society. The Board serves in a voluntary capacity and provides direction, oversight and accountability for the mission of EMPACS.
​
The day-to-day work is carried forward by the heads of our institutions, teachers, support staff and volunteers, who work closely with children and families.
​
EMPACS is registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act. The society is also registered under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act and is approved to receive foreign contributions under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act.
​
Our trust has been built through consistent service, transparent governance, community participation and long-term commitment to children who need support.
